Reginald Beaudoin, visionary for Already Gear, was born in Amarillo and raised in the Oakcliff area of south Dallas. Educated in Dallas ISD, Beaudoin attended Kimball High School and matriculated on to El Centro College majoring in Psychology. He began his 20-year career in the banking industry as an associate at Bright Bank. Bum Bright, also owner of the Dallas Cowboys, was influential in Beaudoin’s vision of entrepreneurship.
Beaudoin ended his banking career facilitating Nations Bank move to the state of Texas. VRB Marketing was the next stop on Beaudoin’s career path. There he worked for 9 years as a sales representative, discovering his enjoyment in the promotional marketing industry and the inner workings of a marketing company. Before long the idea of owning a marketing company was conceived.
By 2001 Already Gear was birthed as a home-based business. Steady growth took place as large customers were won. One notable contract was a 3-year price agreement with Dallas ISD. In early 2005, He approached Teresa Blake (an engineer turned actress transplant from Los Angeles) to partner with him to expand the companies’ base and provide executive management. In 5 years Already Gear’s gross sales rose from less than $100,000 annually to breaking the $1,000,000 mark in 2011.
